This campaign for Destination NSW uses the fabulous “Feelin’ Good” – one of the most sought-after songs for advertising campaigns.
Everybody associates it with Nina Simone, and she did release the most famous version in 1965, but really it’s just a cover. The underlying credit rightfully belongs to composers Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley, who are nowhere near as famous as her. They should be though – they have an amazing catalogue of music for films and musicals. The Destination NSW campaign uses a beautiful new re-record by local artist Azure Ryder, produced by Breathe (Sean Walker & Andrew Grant), and it works really well.
