TROUBLESHOOTING

It is very common for issues to arise during music licensing projects.  This can be not only be very time consuming to resolve, but also very distracting and stressful when working to advertising deadlines. Examples can include:

  • The client or the agency changing the media specification
  • The publishers and record labels being slow to respond
  • The writers objecting to creative treatments
  • The rights’ owners changing their minds about fees and approvals
  • A song not working in the edit suite so it needs to be replaced
  • Multiple publishers all with different contract wording
  • Most of all, last minute changes to the campaign

We have seen all these problems and many more.  We can’t prevent them, but when they arise we know what to do and who to talk to.  We do our best to shield you from the hassles, at the same time as communicating with you about the problems, so that the risk of nasty surprises is minimised.
