So what is this thing called “Music-Based Activations”?  We think of it as almost anything that is not a traditional TVC, or perhaps an online video, which is really just a long version of a TVC.  So it includes many types of non-traditional campaigns, some wonderful, some weird, but nearly always entertaining.  Things like:

  • Branded content
  • Social media engagements, often as brand ambassadors
  • Bespoke concerts
  • VIP tickets to concerts
  • Experiential, such as competitions for Money-Can’t-Buy experiences
  • Corporate performances or appearances at brand events
  • Festival and tour sponsorship
